WORDS

DEAD AND GONE

I don’t know how to handle what I feel.
I don’t believe in praying down on my knees.
I don’t believe in Heaven.
I don’t believe in Hell.
I don’t know where you’ve gone and perhaps that’s just as well...
'Cuz I don’t know how to handle this.
So much pain lies inside my emptiness.
I don’t believe in Jesus.
I don’t believe in God.
So I guess that means that you’re just dead and gone.
But I don’t know how this could be.
You were so full of life how could you leave?
Here I am...
I’m on my own.
But you my love?
Well, you’re dead and gone.
They say that time heals every wound.
So I sit here and hope that the end of time comes soon.
'Cuz if I’m ever gonna see you again I don’t think it’ll happen until the world ends.
Oh, I don’t know how to handle what I feel.
I don’t believe in praying down on my knees.
I don’t believe in Heaven, Jesus, God or Hell.
You’re just dead and gone and I’ve no idea where.

BACKSTORY

This audio track is a 440 Hz anomaly in Jaxie Pie's harmonic stream but it forevah belongs in the sound mix regardless.

Twenty years ago come this summer Sudden Death tore True Love from my arms. It was excruciating. If you want to know that story you'll find it in my Words, here: "The Climber".

It was July 12, 1996, at the 9,500-foot base camp on Emmons Glacier known as Camp Schurman. There, in that moment, SpaceTime/TimeSpace blasted assunder and Jeremy C. Zaccardi suffered a fatal asthma attack and died. He was 23 years old.

Dead And Gone is some sound from the immediate aftermath of my then Beloved's death. It's pretty much the only original Musica remnant I have left that's tuned to 440 Hz. It hurts my HeadHeartSoul to listen to... Literally and figuratively.

That spiritual nails-down-the-blackboard feeling it induces is perfect though for capturing the total cognitive disconnect experienced in the aftermath of Jer's sudden death. I was only a Scientist then and the lyrics for Dead And Gone definitely reveal that.

This brutal moment in time IS in fact the genesis of the Mystic I AM.

Eventually... It. Got. Better. Much.

All Good is how things sound about that Great Grief now, two decades of Terran time later, and after being stirred together with the liquid sunshiney happiness that is inherently Smithalicious. S'nice...
