BACKSTORY
Same as with Inside Of Love, I can’t actually vouch for Waiting For Grace being perfectly tuned to 528 Hz... just sayin’. Mysterious M, of the groovy bluegrass voice, refuses to use a tuner. In fact, he pretty much never tunes his friggen geetar that I know of but somemagicalhow his groove always sounds killer.
‘Tis hella close enough for scratch though. And rest easy... If this track evah goes from scratch to official, yesss we WILL tune to 528 Hz equally officially.
There are many times when the musica, words, and images flow through me and not of me... Not my own, you know? Waiting For Grace was one of those.
This melody and words drifted into my mind one night back when I lived down along the Salmon River in the middle of nowhere. I was chillin' in the hot tub, staring at the stars, listening to the creek roar in all the madness of its spring runoff glory. Lost in peace and bliss. Drifting in Space.
Then out of nowhere A Great And Terrible Sorrow filled me. I was suddenly drowning in despair and these words and melody started ringing loudly inside my head. The anguished wailing of a lost and desperate soul somewhere upon Terra who had relinquished their last Hope.
I sat with the sound of that grief a long time that night and offered up Love. I did not know what else to do.
Whoever the pain belonged to, I hope that somehow they stumble upon our lil' noise here in the ether and know that they were never alone. That somebody *did* hear. And although they could not see it then, the Light Of Grace was wrapped all around them.
